Contraversial new public transport system, BRT (Bath Rapid Transport) gets "off the ground" in style outside Railway House Shop in Kalk Bay this weekend. Stranded shoppers and locals were calling Kalk Bay, "The Venice of the south", as a combination of increasingly high tides and heavy storm waters helped to fast track the introduction of the new Copper Gondolas, mooted to be the transport mode of the future.
