Refining the Fitted Shirt
How many garments, especially shirts have you bought over the years, chosen because of the quality of the fabric,....the print there on, or for whatever reason? How many of these now grace your hanging space unworn year after year simply because they just dont fit your shape.
For too long now South African men have just tolerated poorly designed and cut shirts, ....shirts that pull across the back.....shirts that hang like parachutes off their shoulders.
Pictured above is a shirt design that I adapted from a shirt that I would wear everyday if it didnt ever need to be washed....., a design that fits a typical active South African male physique...(not the typical shirt put together for the beer belly). I am relieved that when my trusty prototype deconstructs due to overwear, I will be able to replicate its success. The overall design is reminiscent of a cowboy shirt, hence the label, "vaquero". Production is set to go ahead once I refine the final detail. For more details.....

Copper Gondolas introduced in Kalk Bay
Contraversial new public transport system, BRT (Bath Rapid Transport) gets "off the ground" in style outside Railway House Shop in Kalk Bay this weekend. Stranded shoppers and locals were calling Kalk Bay, "The Venice of the south", as a combination of increasingly high tides and heavy storm waters helped to fast track the introduction of the new Copper Gondolas, mooted to be the transport mode of the future.

Floating architectural shelf design.
We find higher areas of kitchen layout usually give an effect of top heaviness. Although this is effect has no effect in reality, the sensation is totally reduced by using this design, leaving one with a distinct feeling of having vast headroom depth. The 20 watt halogen lights offer a perfect collage platform for any prized possessions needing exagerated display.
An alternative version can be found in Railway House shop Kalk Bay, comprising similar geometry mounted on castors.
Versatile as a room divider, for display or simply as a book shelf, all of the variations are available in different colours and finishes.
We suggest having the shelf powder coated in your desired counter.
Prices seem to start around R10 k.
